1•Universe Arts is a reincarnation of many iterations of me over multiple decades and continents. At the inception of my theater arts teaching career in South Africa, I started off as a small drama studio in a church hall, while teaching dance for others at their studios. In America, I fulfilled my creative and entrepreneurial passion when creating Front & Center for Performing Arts, a state-of-the-art studio for voice, acting, dance and musical theater, where grooming future Musical Theater and now Broadway performing artists was a major focus, while just as importantly, using the arts to create self-confidence and joy to my recreational students as well. As a mom, my teaching identity morphed into Rhythm Revolution, adding Zumba® and kids Yoga to the repertoire. This incorporated integrating my programs into various school programs of all ages, not to mention running successful kids birthday parties too. |
Now, we are 1•Universe Arts - everything I ever was before and so much MORE! With my undying passion for Theater Arts, Yoga, Zumba®, Teaching and hosting kids parties - I have come to appreciate the importance of celebrating the little moments and the big ones! And now...my newest passion - Aerial Yoga, bringing with it the therapeutic benefits I am personally experiencing, since recovering from back surgery. It has proven an incredible pathway into healing my body, mind and spirit and I can't wait to share it with you - whatever continent we find ourselves on.
